FAQs

Q: What are the dates and times that I need to know?

A: The welcome dinner will be held on the evening of Friday, Feb 4th, 2022 at the Hilton Historic Bayfront's Aviles Restaurant from 6:00pm to 8:30pm.

The training will be held in the Hilton Historic Bayfront's Menendez Training room on February 5th and 6th, 2022 (Saturday and Sunday); from 8:30am to 4:30pm both days, with a break for lunch.

A Farewell dinner will be held Sunday evening at the Old City House Inn & Restaurant from 6:30pm-8:30pm (an 8 minute walk from the Hilton).

View the event timeline below for more details on times and locations.

Q: What do I need to bring to the training?

A: Just bring yourself! We will provide a binder, notepad, itinerary, example reports, pencils, name tag as well as a carrying tote bag.

Q: Can I record the training?

A: No. Video and voice recording devices are not allowed. We will record the training and provide you with access after the event.

Q: Can I bring a guest/spouse to the dinners or the training.

A: Yes you can! For an additional fee you may bring a guest, spouse or office assistant to the trainings and to attend all event functions. A separate fee is set-up for those guests who would just like to attend the 2 dinners with you. Please email us about this option if you would like to add it.

Q: What food will be provided?

A: A casual lunch will be provided in the hotel restaurant on both days of the training. Water, tea and coffee will be available throughout the day and light snack available in the afternoon in the training room. An informal Welcome Dinner is included on Friday at Aviles restaurant, and a Farewell Dinner on Sunday at a nearby, walkable restaurant (tbd).

Q: What is the dress attire?

A: Wear whatever you’ll feel comfortable in. Ron will be teaching in his usual t-shirt and jeans. The training room temperature can vary from morning to afternoon, so short-sleeves and a sweater can help keep you comfortable.

Q: What about COVID?

A: Please note any interaction with the general public poses an elevated risk of being exposed to COVID and we cannot guarantee that you will not be exposed while traveling to or attending this event. Desktop Appraiser, LLC will be following all state and local health safety guidelines.

To help reduce the risk of contracting an airborne illness we have restricted the training to 20 attendees, and middle seats will be removed so attendees are spaced further apart. The Welcome Dinner will be held on the hotel's courtyard for open air ventilation (weather permitting). The training room has windows and a small patio to allow for more ventilation.

If at anytime you become ill and cannot attend the training, please call or email us and we will provide you with a full or partial refund. The training will be recorded, so in the event that you cannot attend live, you will still be able to get the training information.
